This is a photo from my mom's hometown in La Machuca this past December. My family and I always visit for Christmas and New Year. I am very excited to experience the differences and similarities that Mexico, Peru and the U.S. may have.
This is another picture of the area form higher up on the "cerro." My hometown is the smaller cluster of buildings to the left while the town in the center of the photo is where my grandparents grew up.
